Alaska - The Legendary Frontier

This Legendary Alaskan Frontier Land-Trip will be a trip of a your dreams!

Day 1 – Fly into Anchorage Alaska on a Non-Stop Flight, out of Chicago. We will drive you there, in one of our first class JAG Motorcoaches, from one of our local pickup options. Spend your 1st Alaskan evening at your leisure, overnight at an Anchorage hotel.

Day 2 – After Breakfast, board your Premier Alaska Tours Coach as you tour south to the community of Seward. There we will enjoy Lunch aboard a 6 hour Wildlife & Glacier Cruise, keeping our eyes out for seals, otters, whales, & migratory birds. Return to Anchorage for the evening.

Day 3 – Off to Fairbanks; after your included Breakfast you will journey via Coach along Glenn and Richardson Highways, with stops along the way at the Mighty Matanuska Glacier, and local roadhouses. Feel the nostalgia, as you sink your teeth into an Alaskan Salmon Bake, then slip off to your Fairbanks hotel for a cozy night’s stay.

Day 4 – After Breakfast, you’ll love exploring Fairbanks! Visit the famous Gold Daughters to pan for gold! Enjoy Lunch included and a Riverboat Ride on the Chena River, to the home of Susan Butcher, famed 4-time Iditarod champion! Return to your Fairbanks hotel for the evening.

Day 5 – This morning we will board a Deluxe Dome Railcar, where you will enjoy Breakfast on the rails! Arrive into Denali and enjoy free time at the Denali Visitor Center. Explore the town or book optional tours through our tour director, while on site. Tonight, kick back as you enjoy Dinner and a Show, at the Denali Dinner Theater, then retire at a local Denali Hotel.

Day 6
– You will not forget today, touring through Denali National Park on a 5 hour guided Tundra Wilderness Tour! After Breakfast, you’ll be soaking in the breathtaking views and may encounter Bears, Moose, Dall Sheep, & migratory birds! Spend tonight at your Denali Hotel.

Day 7
– After Breakfast, board your Coach to Girdwood. Upon arriving, you will check in at the Alyeska Resort, Alaska’s premier, year-round destination. Nestled in a lush valley surrounded by mountain peaks, hanging glaciers and spectacular ocean views, Alyeska Resort offers our guests luxurious accommodations and convenient access to the magnificent Alaskan wilderness. Along the way, enjoy the quaint town of Talkeetna for lunch, on your own.

Day 8
– On our last full day, after Breakfast, you will enjoy a tram ride up to Mt. Alyeska and visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to see wildlife up close at this sanctuary. Here, we will say farewell to Alaska until next time, as we board our plane at 9pm. Sleep through the night on a Non-Stop flight back to Chicago.

Day 9
– Arrive in Chicago by 8am. Board your first class JAG Motorcoach and head home to your local drop off location. Hotel luggage handling and gratuities, in Alaska, have been included in these prices.
