Escape to Michigan’s beautiful Drummond Island in the Upper Peninsula for a refreshing two-day getaway filled with island scenery, local history, unique shopping, and delicious food! Our adventure begins with a picnic box lunch on the beach before visiting the DeTour Passage Historical Museum. We’ll then board the ferry for a scenic ride across the water to peaceful Drummond Island. Once on the island, enjoy browsing North Haven Gifts, followed by a pizza buffet dinner at Drummond Island Resort where you’ll stay the night!
We’ll discover more of the island’s story at the Drummond Island Historical Museum and enjoy time to shop at the Islander Shoppe. Lunch brings a flavorful treat at Esther’s Authentic Mexican Cuisine before we visit the Fort Drummond Historic Marker. After our return ferry ride, we’ll stop at Malette Park for free time and rockhounding along the shoreline—keep your eyes open for a special Lake Huron treasure! Our final stop is St. Ignace, where you’ll have time to shop, stroll, grab a bite, or enjoy the waterfront before returning home.
